Revealed: The Great Barrier Reef, Eiffel Tower and Sydney Opera House are Brits’ favourite landmarks to wake up to
The British public would most like to wake up to a view of The Great Barrier Reef, a survey has revealed.
In a study of 2,000 people across the UK, 28 per cent chose the coral reef system off the Australian coast as the landmark they would most like to see in the morning, followed by the Eiffel Tower in Paris (24 per cent) and The Sydney Opera House (19 per cent).
Results also revealed a remote beach as the favourite view to which people would like to open their curtains.
Opening the curtains in the morning would be much more pleasant if you could open them onto some of the most beautiful sights in the world, according to this latest ‘research’. And if you think it seems odd that the most incredible sights on the planet are caveated with that clumsy link to opening your curtains, you’d be right:
The survey, commissioned by online interiors retailer Curtains.com, comes as part of the company’s ‘Beautiful Mornings campaign’, which allows users to open curtains to views of mornings all over the world, depending on the time of day.
