Clumsy pets cause £3.5 BILLION worth of damage to gadgets each year – and dogs are the worst offenders
They may be considered man’s best friend but new research has revealed dogs are the clumsiest pets in Britain and could be costing their owners hundreds of pounds in gadget repair bills.
SquareTrade’s annual accident survey discovered the average pet owner has to spend £274 on fixing devices and household appliances because of damage caused by animals.
Who conducted the research warning us about the expensive issue of clumsy pets, and just how much damage they can cause to your home?
Kevin Gillan, managing director at warranty firm SquareTrade said: ‘This research proves that man’s best friend isn’t quite as loyal when it comes to devices which are almost always within ‘paw’s reach.’
