“Women feel too fat to be seen naked!” says dodgy diet pill retailer
When was the last time your partner saw you naked?
Remember the days when you would dive under the covers so your latest date wouldn’t see your wobbly bits?
Well if you thought all that changed when you got married, think again. One in six married women in Britain hasn’t let their partner see them naked in over a year.
Setting aside the implausible notion that a sixth of married women refuse to be seen naked, ever, let’s take a look at the company pushing the ‘don’t you think you’re fat, ladies?’ buttons in the national press:
According to new research from online pharmacy www.UKMedix.co.uk, ‘body insecurity’ and ‘lacking libido’ among the main reasons why. It seems women’s confidence levels are at an all time low, with 21 per cent of women going as far as to say they ‘never’ look at themselves naked, let alone show their partner their body.
For the uninitiated, UKMedix are a website selling weight loss pills at a price of £129.99 for 28 tablets.
