First world problems: Wi-Fi and Apple iPads are “must have” home comforts for Britons
BRITONS feel like they need an Apple iPad and a Wi-Fi internet connection to feel truly at home, according to research published yesterday.
The study revealed tablet computers and access to the world wide web are ranked alongside dressing gowns and slippers as modern day home comforts.
The source of the story?
The survey, conducted by East Coast trains, also found 15 per cent felt they needed access to Facebook and 13 per cent listed an iPod or MP3 player.
Coincidentally, while expressing the importance of staying connected on the move, East Coast have also recently announced their ‘free wi-fi’ rewards scheme.
